Aloe Facts —
Aloe Vera plants include some 300 varieties, of these it is the Aloe Barbadensis Miller (Aloe Vera) the most potent that has been of most use to man. It originated in Africa and now has spread across the world wherever it has found sunny dry climates with no frost. Bearing a similarity to a cactus plant it is actually a member of the lily family and is related to onions, garlic and asparagus.
Aloe has been used since recorded history as one of the most beneficial plants on earth as it contains more than 75 known active ingredients that have been identified to date. Nicknames around the world include medicine plant, miracle plant, silent healer, wand of heaven or burn plant to name but a few.

Forever Living have patented the stabilisation process. In other words their Aloe Vera is harvested without damaging any of the active ingredients and by adding only natural stabilisers. The leaves are harvested by hand and washed and filleted to remove the exterior rind. The inner gel is then collected in stainless steel vats for stabilisation. This process is critical to the patented stabilisation process that prevents the loss of Aloe’s nutrients and other important elements. Forever use only the inner gel – not whole leaf. This clear inner gel contains Aloe’s most beneficial ingredients and leaves the natural balance of ingredients undisturbed.
Just enough natural harvest ingredients are added to the 100% inner gel that are required to stabilise it, declaring it as being "essentially identical to the raw gel" by the Food and Drink Laboratories of New York.
